Was the blu ray a limited run?

My wife and I saw the english dub in theaters last February and it was great! I really want the Blu Ray and I've been searching all year to no avail. After checking the official website it says the Blu Ray came out 10/29 but they are out of stock. My question is this: Was it just a limited run?
