Post Body

Hey guys!

So I fell behind in volume 8 due to life being a bit busy lately. I'm trying to catch up but I cruise this sub and don't really mind spoilers much so I know a bit about what's happening in the story right now. I wanted to ask how important the baleros stuff is in relation to what's going on in izril and terandria and the land of the dead and all that.

I ask because for me Baleros has always been the most boring part of the story. I immediately lost interest in that entire continent when niers and the students left. I don't hate the UN kids but they're boring as paste to me and Geneva is kind of meh. Luan is the only one I like and the fraerling city was cool but not enough to make me want to slog through the rest. I'm perfectly fine with peclir burning down the forgotten wing company if it meant we didn't go back there and niers stayed in izril. Basically my question is would i be confused if I just skipped those chapters? Does anything big happen in relation to everything outside Baleros? I'll read them if it's important but I don't really want too. I'm at the part where luan just got back to the UN company with his new fraerling friends and Geneva figured out the cure for the popsicle but they haven't used it yet
