Is park hopping possible if 2nd park has no reservations available?

Could someone tell me please if it is possible to park hop in the afternoon when the second park has no available reservations?
We have a reservation for Epcot today but would like to hop over to Hollywood Studios in the afternoon but it currently has no reservations available online..
