Don't know how many of you have been following the news with Project 89 on the wdwmagic forum but, in summary, there's been several permits filed in the past week or so covering a very large tract of land east of the disney airport, and seemingly including River Country.

Initially, most people were thinking this might be another resort, DVC or otherwise, or maybe an expansion of the airport but the amount of permits referencing "Project 89" is getting quite large and encompassing quite a sizeable area.

Could this be the fifth gate? I just can't imagine anything else for something covering this much acreage. The permits have been relatively vague saying it only includes construction and preliminary testing along with a roadway addition to the main Disney roads.
