We are looking to book in at the Poly for our first visit in October 2024 but I've just seen that they are building a new tower block there.. is this a concern for anyone?

We've never stayed there before and were really looking forward to our stay (in fact it is almost a bucket list event) especially for the ambience and theming, but now we are a little worried that the new tower is either going to mean we are staying alongside a building site with constant construction work, or alternatively it is finished and open to the public and the whole vibe of the Poly has changed into something else with hundreds of extra guests.

If you are a fan of the Poly or considering a visit next year, what are your thoughts on this? Should we still go for it? As it is a DVC block, does that mean that if we rent points we will definitely be staying in the new block?
