Injured but didn’t report. Can I request to be taken off the schedule or transferred to a light duty role? What’s your experience?
Post Body

I ran both my feet over with a loaded pallet jack. They didn’t hurt much at the time so I didn’t think much of it.

They aren’t in major pain now, but they are achy/ do hurt some.

What’s the odds of me being able to just get my schedule altered to where I don’t work many hours for a week or 2? Or getting put in a role where walking isn’t as much of a key part of it?

If I were unlucky enough to get a hairline fracture of something I don’t want to aggravate it. And since this happened the other day and I didn’t report it I don’t know it would do any good to go back and report it now.

Ok I didn’t know that was a thing. Tbh the job opportunities in my area scarce so II’d be worried they will just look for a way to fire me if too many incidents happen though

I mean….what happens when someone gets injured at home and can’t work? They just get fired?
