I don't know what managers in stores out there need to hear this but listen up..
As a leader, I'm disgusted by the things I've read on this reddit of how you managers carry yourselves and of how poorly you treat the people that break their backs for you at your stores. Of course this post isnt pertaining to everyone but if the shoe fits certainly lace it up.
Leaders pull the wagon with their crew. Bosses sit on the wagon and point fingers.
Bosses talk about everything you are doing wrong while leaders inspire you, highlight your strengths and help you grow your weaknesses into more strengths.
Be the reason your employees want to come to work, treat them as equals and with respect because that is what they deserve. Tell them good job, buy them lunch. Ask them if they need a break every now and then. Show them you care. Results will follow. The best work gets done by happy workers.
People don't quit jobs they quit bosses. Always been a firm believer in that. If lots of people are quitting from your store, time to look in the mirror.
