So, my DM, SM, and new Pharmacist have implemented new “duties” for the shift leads at my store. We are now required to do code green every morning, put all the filled prescriptions into the correct bins, complete the pharmacies compass, complete pharmacies emails, do the out of dates for the pharmacy, refill the drams for the pharmacy, make sure the pharmacy has enough leaflets for the day, and of course any ic3’s including covering tech’s lunches. On top of that complete all of our normal duties. Resets/Revisions, trucks/vendors, helping CSA’s, etc. We are only a 12 hour store. We have one SFL till 1pm or 2pm. We have one CSA usually till 4pm or 5pm. We are written up if we stay late after the store closes even if we have an absolute valid reason for doing so. Then when the DM comes in and the store looks horrible and we have piles of resets/revisions we get ridiculed and yelled at for it.
I am so sick of being the ones getting stomped on for everything. We can only do one job at a time but we are expected to do all jobs. All my fellow shift leads are working extremely hard to try and keep the store afloat but we are all getting to the point of complete exhaustion. We are all tired of being talked to like we are bums and like we aren’t trying and giving our 100%. I am so tired of this company and most of the other shift leads are too. But we are stuck because in our area there aren’t many job opportunities. Most of us have families we have to provide for. We can’t just walk out because it would hurt our families. Somehow I feel like the DM, SM, and Pharmacist know that. I feel like they feed off of that because they know we won’t leave. I just hate how screwed up this company is at its core values for the people that give there all for it.
