Licensed pharmacy tech here making $16.50 an hour. Just found out the Aldi's employees down the road start at $18 an hour to not deal with patient information.
I don't feel respected as a pharmacy technician anymore. When the nice folks at aldis and sandwich makers at wawa make more than the guy who gives you 3 vaccines at once...it really makes that guy wonder wtf he is doing filling scripts instead of making your hoagie.
Honestly aldis and wawa employees deserve more than they make too. So what does that say? We are all a lot more alike than different. We are all getting bent over and spanked by the you-know-whos.
Walgreens Walkout? Yes. Anyone else wanna join too? Hopefully. Shut the whole darn country down for 3 days and watch that make a difference when all the retailers scramble to stay open without a workforce.
