Anybody know how to successfully handle Tricare/Perx?? We have had two patients in a row this weekend on tricare and both their DOD, the ID number that pops up on the FINDINS, even their social number doesn't work. The only way we could resolve it is if we call PERX but that takes like 1 hr and i just feel bad for the patients.
Good thing the pt yesterday was kind enough to pay for it cash first while we called Perx the next day (today) but they gave us a whole different ID number and that one went through.
Are they supposed to have an insurance card with their details on it??
