Bad waiter calls me out for leaving a 10% tip in front of my party

It felt super inappropriate and embarrassing.
We ordered bottomless brunch for 1.5 hours (and paid a lot extra for same) and waiter never once refilled our drinks without me getting up and chasing him down on the other side of the restaurant. He was lucky I gave him anything. Waiter also was sassy and rude and food was super slow coming out.
Is it just me … or is that incredibly inappropriate for waiter who deserved no tip to complain publicly about 10%? Lol.
