I have a boarding booked for 2 weeks for >$500 that was supposed to start this morning. The owner messages to say that she was cancelling but hasn’t done so yet on the app. I can’t find any information on what the cancellation fee is given it’s a few hours after the start time (though I haven’t swiped to start because no doggo is here.) do you all happen to know what the cancellation fee is for same day? Is it a percentage or flat fee? The website is super unclear…

EDIT TO UPDATE: My earnings never updated, but after 3 emails to support, an incorrect payment form submission, and clicking everything in chat until I got to a live agent it was finally corrected. Initially 50% of the booking was credited to my earnings then I got a text from the person who helped me saying the policy had changed and the full amount of the booking had been credited to my earnings. I’m not sure if this is because the owner cancelled after the boarding was scheduled to start or if there’s been a policy change, but I’ll keep an eye out to see if it goes back to 50%. It seems a lot to keep 100% of a 2 week boarding for cancelling (even if it is to my benefit.) I’ll update again if anything else happens with the cancellation payout.
