Living on a sailboat at WWU next year...

So I have been admitted to Western Washington University next year, and I'm considering living on a boat in Squalicum marina. Have any other Western kids tried this? It should come out cheaper than living on or off campus (I'm a transfer student, I'll be coming in a junior).
Any thoughts?
