Hi :) Been exploring short and long term options about being abroad in Asia region. I'm from Seattle area.
So I learned about Wwoof and read their websites in Taiwan and Japan. Genuinely like what I read. It gives me an opportunity to experience the environment and their cultures. I can learn more about farming and beyond.
I understand this is only short term? I do have interest in being abroad long term if possible.
I am curious about potential prospective of me as a deaf and HH person doing Wwoof successfully. By successfully, I mean to satisfy and meet hosts' expectations and needs. I'd love to hear from any of you about this?
With cochlear implant on, I can somewhat hear okay and I had 11 years of speech therapy. I can talk okay (with my own accent) with English. Fully deaf when it's off. Lol
Thankful for your time. 🙏
