Is this game worth buying?

I mainly just play hardcore domination when I buy CoD games. With BO3, I found the constant release of new maps, weapons, and such very annoying. I refuse to spend money on a game after already buying the game for $60. I have never spent additional money after initial purchase and I never will. Is the game enjoyable as is or is it "fine for now" and people are waiting on DLC?
Also, are the maps like BO3, in that they are practically all carbon copies of 3 paths?
