How important are your main CAWs to your universe mode?

There's one CAW that I've made in every universe mode since every game 2k15 with some sort of flexible timeline as he's meant to be the exact same wrestler from that game. However as I've made more CAWs I care for, and gotten into downloading actual ones since the inception of AEW, I've seen him go to the back burners and go from a Main Eventer to basically a Mid Card Talent.

So my question is, how important is your main/oldest CAW to you this year? Do you protect their status or just leave it to the game to see how they go?
