Help with getting the right skin tone in CAW

Hi all.
One of my attempts at a render darkened the skin tone of one of my CAWs and I actually like how the render looks so I want to edit the CAW to have the same skin tone as the render. Does anyway have a link or guide how to get the right skin tone?
