I am doing the optional storyline where you do this charity match thing with truth but a snowstorm makes truth declare himself acting GM under "Protocol 48" which at first I just went ok and moved on not paying much to dialogue the first time, but playing it again, I suddenly realised something.
R-Truths apparent "Protocol 48" in the story refers to the ability to declare an Acting General Manager if needed, but that sounds awfully similar to a piece of German law from the years of the Weimar Republic known as "Article 48" in which the president would be allowed to in the case of an emergency (keep in mind nothing was mentioned as to what constituted an emergency), and allowed them to rule as a sole power figure for however long the article was invoked, getting rid of the legislature for that same duration. It is this article that sped up a certain German/Austrian to rise to power.
I apologise for the history lesson but I couldn't help but share this, as they share very similar parallels and now I think Truth might be getting a little dictatorial 🤣🤣🤣🤣
