Getting the school or town to provide better crosswalks and pedestrian safety
Post Body

Does anyone ever feel that our campus prioritizes vehicles and is extremely unsafe for pedestrians at several locations? The crosswalk before the library has no signs and the "crosswalk" at the fork in the road is just a single pedestrian sign but no crosswalk of any sort. People speed through the main crosswalk that cuts through campus as well. After a student was killed by a vehicle a few years ago, the school installed those barely effective lights at a few locations, yet still students are subjected to crossing extremely active dangerous roads at any given time and little has changed.

Are there any advocacy groups or student organizations trying to lobby the school to change any of this?
