What is verification?

"Verification" is the process of proving that the person in the picture is the actual submitter of the post. Verification is required for every single OC participant. However, moderators always reserve the right to require submitters to verify. We care about the person in the photographs and want to make sure they are not being exploited. Please pardon the inconvenience if/when we require you to verify or ask you to improve your verification pics. We're just trying to look out for you.
How do I get verified?

Firstly, familiarize yourself with the rules of the sub, which are listed in the sidebar. It's a lot to read, but they are very important. When you're finished reading the rules, proceed...
Send a message to WVSwingers_Verified modmail that contains at least 3 color pictures of yourself, from 3 distinctly different angles, couples must have at least 1 photo together, holding a hand-written sign in your hand(s) that includes:
1. Your exact reddit username
2. Today's date, including the year (must match the date you submit your verification)
4. A mention of r/WVSwingers_Verified (to confirm the person holding the sign knows where it is being posted)
5. What you are Couple, Single Female, Bull, Unicorn, NOTE: Single Female and Unicorn are about the same but some females dont want the term unicorn
6. The paper shall be crumpled in a ball then smoothed, yet still readable.
7. Upload the images to imgur.com. DO NOT upload them to Imgur's Gallery! They will be deleted, and you may get banned there...they don't allow NSFW images in the Gallery. Upload them to their own album by clicking "Add more images" until all of your images have been uploaded.
8. COPY THE IMGUR ALBUM LINK AND PASTE IT INTO THE BODY OF YOUR MESSAGE TO THE MODERATORS.
Do I have to show my face?

Absolutely not! The purpose of verification is NOT to connect your picture to a real-life identity, but rather to connect a person's body to the reddit username. We don't care about who you are in real life and we don't even want to know. All we care about is that you are in the photo and you consent to being posted.
