[Question] Winter Tires and Shop Advice '19 Limited Denver, CO

Post Body

I had the day off so I decided to swing by Les Schwab and get a quote for some new winter tires to compare with Costco. From various research I was looking at the BFG GForce COMP-2 A/S and the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 . Currently I am running the stock Dunlop Sport MAXX R / T. The guy at the shop looked at my tires and said that I should be fine through the winter and that they were A/S. From what I have seen the Dunlops are a performance summer tire and should not be trusted in colder weather. I'm a cautious winter driver with a short(ish) commute to work. Should I listen to the Les Schwab dude or skip that noise and get a quality legit A/S? Thanks in advance.
