I live in Arkansas, where it gets super hot in summer, and super cold in winter (though no snow :( )

I'm at my first oil change and wanting to know what weights are ok. Right now the temp is averaging about 80-90 degrees with decent humidity.

This is what the next few weeks look like, and I have a 4 hour drive trip this weekend:

Just want to make sure I am doing this right. Is 5w30 Conventional ok, or does it absolutely have to be synthetic and also, in these temps, should I/is it ok for me to run 10w30 before winter?
