Hey all, I live in the UK (London) and need to get some replacement suspension for my 2002 Impreza WRX STI (Bugeye) Non-Widetrack. What options do I have or what would you recommend?
I really do love the original stock suspension ride height. But they have rusted to the point where they’re now finished. I priced up a replacement OEM set with Subaru and the cost was ridiculous (£2000 ). So I think it’s time to consider alternatives. I’m currently leaning more towards the Pedders I’ve found online because they’re a shock and spring set up rather than coilover, and get decent reviews. It sounds like they will retain more of that stock height and drive, but will naturally sit a little lower.
Plus, if I do track the car, they will be able to handle it. (When I say track the car, I won’t be trying to set a record lap time, just have some fun).
Having said all that, I’m not very clued up at the moment, and would be interested to hear what you all think and suggest.
These are the options I have been considering:
- BC coilovers
- Bilsteins (I think they only make the B14 and B16 coilovers for this model)
- Pedders SportRyder EziFit
Please let me know what you would recommend!
Thanks in advance.
Reiger rally coilovers lmao
