Ok so I recently got this 04 wrx, I know it had issues that I could resolve, and I have resolved all but one.
I was getting a p1088 tumbler valve circuit low. I go to check them out and lo and behold the sensor is broken and looks kind of melted.
What is bugging me is that the turbo looks to be digging into the sensor, like.. I don’t even think a brand new sensor would slide in place.
I’m very new to Subarus, is there any tricks to move the turbo back a bit? I know it’s mounted on the headers but damn how tf does this happen?? The kid I got it from stated the motor was swapped. What about shaving the turbo just a bit?
