I am considering getting a 2015+ WRX STI. But I hear mixed reviews on their reliability.

Post Body

Majority of the internet says they are reliable as long as they are bone stock. I plan on doing some basic bolt on mods like an intake and exhaust so I don’t think that would be cause for concern. But as someone who is coming from a 2013 Honda CR-Z because I got tired of having project cars that needed work every other week so I got something reliable for a change. Would a STI be unreliable? I am looking for the brutal truth because I don’t want to get blindsided if it’s unreliable. I want this thing to be able to take me cross country (a bit of an exaggeration) but I think I made my point. I want to hear the Subaru community’s input.

Thank you all in advance!
