Hello everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I'm looking to purchase a used WRX G3, but I've come across conflicting information. Two YouTube videos suggested that I shouldn't buy the 08 version or the 2011-2014 versions. I don't recall the specific reasons, but has anyone else heard this before?
Additionally, what should I be aware of when buying a used WRX G3?
I've also been considering the Killer B oil pan/pickup. Is this necessary if the car is stock? Do I need to change both the pick up and oil pan, or just the pick up? One seller told me that changing the oil pickup/pan is unnecessary if it's stock.
I've heard that the Killer B oil pan sits lower and as I live in Australia where the roads can be bumpy and have potholes, as well as inclines and declines, I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience with it.
Thank you all for sharing your time, experience, and knowledge. I will be taking the car to a mechanic for inspection before making a purchase. I canβt wait till I join the WRX club.
