It really baffles me how many people are meeting up on here, but don’t get tested. I cannot exaggerate the importance of this enough! Even if you’re using condoms, please be getting checked before starting new sexual relationships with someone. I was trying to plan a threesome on here with someone; and she was interested for the longest. But I would bring up getting an std test, full panel, and that my partner and I would do the same. And then all of a sudden she would be busy, but talking about how she’s been meeting up with all these different Redditors. (I’m assuming she chose them since it would be easier for her since they wouldn’t require her to get tested) Which really put me off because it made me aware I can’t trust her with my safety. We are adults, we really really need to educate ourselves before putting more people at risk just because you don’t want to go get tested and have to wait to have sex..And also just so you know, if you sleep with one person, and then a day later get an std test, everything was negative, and then sleep with someone else, you are still potentially putting them at risk because sometimes it can take 14 days for an std to even show up. It’s both parties responsibility to get tested and do it the proper way. And I know a lot of men will just be super happy they found a hookup, but please don’t let your arousal make you ignore very important health safety.
