Post Body

For a bit of context, I do work in a corporate environment with a team of other young adults (22-30). We are all very close and thereā€™s definitely a personal side to all of our relationships with one another.

One of my coworkers is also queer. I never thought much of it or her until we started to work a bit more closely together.

Over the last few weeks, Iā€™ve noticed sheā€™s been VERY touchy. I havenā€™t noticed if thatā€™s simply how she is with everyone or not, but every single time I see her now, there is some form of physical contact being made.

A maybe-too-long shoulder rub, fixing my hair, putting her arm around me, touching my arm during a conversation, and what I would call ā€œmiddle school flirtingā€ (think of ā€œmean flirty,ā€ I guess?).

Iā€™m not sure if Iā€™m an over thinker in this situation. Iā€™m also not sure if Iā€™m comfortable with this or if I sort of like the dynamic?? Thereā€™s definitely an age gap and sheā€™s a bit ā€œhigher upā€ than me, so not sure if thatā€™s a contributing factor in this situation or not.

To clarify, I definitely will NOT be dating or ā€œmaking a moveā€ in my coworker. Idk this is mainly a vent and maybe an attempt for me to figure out how this situation makes me feel/whether Iā€™m reading too much into it! Thank you guys.
