Is allnet support normally terrible or am i just unlucky
Post Body

Is allnet always this terrible with their support? they started out fairly responsive and good until they decided that the issue will just simply disappear if you dont reply.

created a timeline to make it easier to track the communication.

  • August 18: I placed an order for a Digquad with LAN from Allnet. Shortly after, I was given a tracking number that didn’t work. Assuming it was a minor glitch, not uncommon with economy shipments from China, I didn’t worry too much. However, a couple of days later, I received a second, also a non-functional, tracking number, whith an update on Allnet's own site showing the digquad as shipped, decided to wait still as this for me atleast indicated something is happening.
  • September 8: With the tracking number still not showing any progress, I reached out to Allnet’s support to figure out what was happening. They responded by saying the item had been delivered on September 6, even sending me a screenshot of the tracking information, on that image i could see the name of the local delivery company.
  • September 8 part 2: I decided to contact the local delivery company. They confirmed Allnet's claim of delivery. I explained the situation and even checked with my neighbors, who confirmed they hadn’t received anything on my behalf (i also know them from before and they are a group of 22-25 year old partygirls co-living together, its highly unlikely they know what a digquad is, but i doubt they would steal it even if they did). The local company eventually admitted the package might be lost after delivery and assured me they would inform Allnet about this and that communication further on would come from Allnet. They did caution that it might take some time depending on Allnet's response times.
  • September 18: Having not heard from Allnet, I contacted them again. They simply reiterated that the local delivery company's tracking showed the item as delivered on september 6 and suggested I asked the local company if they can track down the package, i then explained the response from my local company and that the local company said they would contact Allnet.
  • September 19: Allnet emails me informing that we simply have to await for the email to arrive from the local delivery company.
  • Subsequent Communications: I sent 2 emails asking if they had been contacted, no reply, gave up on email and tried reaching out through their chat service several times (i added order number and my email on all the chats i remembered, to make sure they could reach me and see the old chats/emails), all without reply.
  • December 13: I finally receive an email, they merely confirmed the September 6 delivery status again, without addressing any of the above issues.
  • After December 13: This is where it has gone completely silent, i have tried several times without any feedback from them and had basically given up and forgotten about the money i now consider lost, and for some reason i remembered about it today and decided to contact them again.
They are now away on holidays for chinese new years, thats completely fair, but will try to add a chat with my email again and see what happens.
In hindsight i realized i should have asked for a confirmation from the local company that they have indeed contacted allnet, i have done that today and hopefully they manage to send me some information.

It seems to me that if you want any support from Allnet you have to almost show up at their door to get any help after they realize the package is gone, if not they will just ignore you and hope you forget about it.

TLDR: Got ghosted by a chinese reseller after playing detective for around 4 months.
