Title says it all. I ask this because i am wondering, do the difficulties scale players according to your team strength? For example, if i play a 'regular' difficulty team with my 3 star team and play against the same 'regular' difficulty team with a 5 star team, will the CPU scale it's team to better match my team strength while still keeping the regular difficulty?

The reason i ask is because i played a cpu team on Pro with my mostly silver ball team and won pretty handily. I played the same team on the same difficulty with a full black ball 5 star team and i barely scraped out with a win. The 2nd game, the CPU AI seemed to press much more aggressively and win balls much easier as well as intercept passes and knock my guys off the ball at an alarming rate compared to the 1st game. What gives? Is this all in my head?
