WandaVision "Master of Enigma"

Post Body

I've been rewatching all the episodes and in episode 2 Wanda calls Vision "Master of Enigma" during the talent show. This caught my attention so I googled marvel Enigma and came up with this.... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enigma_(Marvel_Comics)

Basically Enigma was a mutant who lived in a village that was destroyed by a nonvirus unleashed by some corporation. The nano virus was made to bring out people LATENT MUTANT ABILITIES.

The story seems to have at least some similarities to West View and could potentially be a hint at what is actually going on. Of course it could be complete coincidence.

Is there something happening to the people of West View that could be similar to a viral infection and did Wanda set up the barrier to quarantine the area to prevent its spread? Is this going to bring out the latent mutant powers of some of the characters in West View? I honestly have no clue but if that is the case, I'm going to go out on a Limb and say that Dottie is going to be this universes Emma Frost. She has both the looks and personality for it.

Regardless what happens.... im looking forward to whatever Marvel drops on us!

Edit: thinking about it more. Wanda might be the scape goat in this situation. Sword may be taking the place of the corporation that was responsible for the mutant nano virus in the Enigma story. Sword may be trying to come up with a way to make an army of super humans as a way to respond to future thanos level events. Things got out of hand and now they are trying to paint Wanda as "the primary victimizer" as a cover up.
