Why are there so many foreign tax credit acknowledgments?

If you whisk through the closing credits, at the end there’s a screen giving thanks to British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Ireland, New Zealand, and France.
Why? Are they really contracting out various production aspects to those countries? I assume they’re not doing any filming. They only had second unit credits for GA and Los Angeles.
