Hi guys. I've been on 30mg Vyvanse for a while now and it works great, for about 6-8 Hours. I work 12 hour shifts, so for the last part of my shift I have to deal with med drop which suuuckkkksss.

We tried halfing my dose and spreading it throughout the day, but that just lead to me not getting any effect at all for the entire day. We tried upping my dose in the morning, but then the side effects got too bad during the first few hours, but the later hours where great. We tried having me take 30mg in the morning and 10mg or 20mg in the evening, but then I still didn't have virtually no effect during the evening. And if I take 30mg in the evening I absolutely cannot sleep.

So now my psychiatrist (who's an ADHD specialist) suggest I'd take a shorter acting med in the evening if I need it.

So now I am on 30mg Vyvanse in the morning and 10mg methylphenidate about 8 hours later.

I haven't tried that yet because I fully forgot to pick up my meds from the pharmacy (oops), but I haven't heard anyone else taking both. If you do, how is it?
