It sounds so silly to say, even in this reddit group, but I still, after a few years, am unable to cope or function as a human being. There are obviously underlying reasons for this like mental health, poverty and autism etc but I do honestly feel the main reason is that being vegetarian and vegan does put you on a different plane of existence to the overwhelming majority of human beings.
I've come to absolutely detest human beings as a group, find almost any moral position anyone holds utterly trivial and compromised due to their default hypocrisy, and obvious am unable to really have any social, professional or romantic life as a result.
So I suppose I want to know how in God's name are you all coping and being in relationships with people and getting along with them and not constantly thinking about the daily genocide of sentient beings? Medication?
