Parents buying a 2012 XC90 D5 lux auto

Just got a few questions about reliability of it? Seen good things but wanted to know a little more, it’s mainly going to be used for towing a caravan. This one has done 97 thousand and is top spec!
And if anyone knows of a good Apple car play upgrade please let me know as my dad would like that.
