2005 Jetta 1.8T
On Friday afternoon I got stuck in the snow. Had to rock the car to get free. Seemed fine while bombing around the rest of my lunch that day.
On the drive home I noticed that it seemed louder than usual but thought that maybe it was some snow stuck up under the car.
On the commute yesterday morning it was still loud but otherwise fine. But going home last night I noticed that whenever I give it a little, there is a sputtering sounds from the exhaust and not much power.
This morning coming in to work I had to put the windows down because the whole car reeked of exhaust.
I know this is an exhaust issue, but is it something to do with the turbo or did I just manage to separate the exhaust somewhere?
I'm taking it in to get it looked at, but was hoping to know what I was likely up against before I get it in.
Thanks.
