I was on a trip observing Fuego volcano overnight. It was fairly active having eruptions of gas and bright rocks.
I was trying to sleep but it kept waking me up. One time I woke up I swore I saw that instead of the usual bright orange a bright blue color.
The eruption was much smaller. With significantly fewer points of bright rocks. Dimmer too.
Now I had been sleeping seconds before so I am not going to call myself a reliable narrator but I canβt shake the thought I saw blue and completely blue. I could also have been seeing things. No one else saw it but I am not sure if they were woken for this one.
I have heard sulfur would burn that color so blue is possible in theory. But I guess I am trying to confirm. Is what I thought I saw (blue glowing rocks) possible? Specifically is it possible for Fuego volcano in Guatemala?
