Trying to get into proper voice work, but not sure where to start

Post Body

I've been streaming on Twitch for the past few years doing esports casting in a semi-professional manner, though having gotten very few opportunities to do much proper tournament-style work. It's been recommended to me that I get into proper voice over instead and despite how much I would love to get involved, I have no idea where I would start. Whenever I look into getting started, I always seem to run into people who keep telling me that the industry is so competitive that the odds of ever being noticed are slim to none, so I shouldn't bother. I'm not dissuaded by these statements, more just annoyed with how often I seem to hear the same thing. I'll link a few clips that I feel best reflect my sound and style as well as what I'm normally adjusted to, but I would love to hear any feedback regarding where I should try starting and any opinions regarding what I do and how I do it. Thank you!
