The Nvidia Shield has many apps - some, like Netflix only work via HDMI ARC with Vizio if I manually change the Audio to PCM. (ask support, they will say the same thing, because thats what they told me and thats what works.) The E50-F2 cannot automatically detect and switch like it is supposed to. Defaulting to PCM makes me miss out on Dolby Digital which is much better than PCM on live channels and hulu.

Then - when using live channels app - from time to time I will get a loud piercing sound that wont go away unless I mute or play something else. I bought this TV because of ARC - and it sucks.

The entire setup works without issue if I run the NVIDIA Shield through the soundbar - to the TV - but then my game systems wont be able to take advantage of the soundbar.
