Cosmos Elite Present - now I need a computer to run it. Help.

Got an elite for a present. Never done VR stuff before and have always been a MacBook Pro user. Since M1/2 chips aren’t supporting boot camp sounds like I need a new computer to run it. Prefer a laptop since we travel decently often and having a gaming machine that could travel would be nice. $2500 or so. Any suggestions?
