SteamVR Performance Test detecting wrong graphics card

I have a Nvidia GTX 1050 graphic card in my XPS 15. I set the Nvidia control panel to global high and the software as high as well. every time I run the app it picks up the integrated card (intel 630). I also had the problem with the HTC Vive app as well. I just want to make sure that when I play games they are using the correct card. I would like to see both application detect the correct card, and Iām aware that the Nvidia is more then capable of handling most games and VR
