Building an enclosure, little confused by some terminology.
Post Body

So in preparation to build my ball pythons new enclosure I am getting a little tripped up on some terminology and it's left me a little puzzled.

In a lot of the guides I see, I see either silicone or sealant referenced and some even use both and seem to use them interchangeably.

Is this one of those situations where people just use different words but are talking about the same thing. Like silicone is just one option, one can use to seal an enclosure?

And am I also correct in my interpretation that to attach background panels to the enclosure I would just use silicone also?
