Bioactive frog vivarium possible?
Post Body

Hi all.

I'm looking to make a bio-active vivarium setup with a frog. I think I have a Baja California tree frog. Is this doable? I'm just worried the frog is going to eat anything that moves and completely ruin that.

I was thinking of doing springtails, possibly isopods, a few assorted beetles, shrimp and trumpet snails for the water.. I just need things that will eat dead vegetation, mold, and algae. I'm pretty certain the frog will kill off all the beetles, probably the shrimp and snails too.

I'm also very new at all this. Any tips and advice, guides, articles, etc would be helpful. Thanks.
