Anyone more sensitive in different REGIONS??
Post Body

(I also posted this in r/nostupidquestions because, well, this may be a ā€œduhā€ question, but itā€™s not to me! Iā€™m giving you guys more info because maybe someone here can relate to me or you may have questions as Iā€™ve dealt with this a LONG time).

ME HISTORY W/ VITILIGO: Iā€™m just about 90% covered with vitiligo. Iā€™ve had it probably 24 years. It was triggered by a severe allergic reaction when I was a kid. It sucked. My skin was a BEAUTIFUL deep rich brown. Then I didnā€™t. Then I tried UVB treatments & some other things that failed. Then some of my hair turned white and the kids made fun. Whatever. My white hair is cool AF.

THE CONTEXT QUESTION: I lived in Dallas, TX 9 years before moving to Los Angeles a few years back. Since moving to LA, my skin has naturally ā€œblendedā€ together (didnā€™t even notice this until a month ago). The sun seemed to have tanned me through clothing because I ALWAYS had spots.

In Dallas today and spent (maybe) 3 minutes TOTAL getting out of the car and walking into a store 2x. Car was tinted, no other direct sunlights. Got into the house and looked down to find my spots have tanned and Iā€™m no longer all one color again. EVERYWHERE.

The elevation is not much different but the smog/dust/etc. is. On a clear day in LA, I can still be in the sun and not tan.

What gives? Anyone?? Anyone else?? ANYWAY!

P.S. I use sunscreen. Iā€™m looking for recommendations if anyone knows of one thatā€™s great, smells good, maybe has some tint or shimmer. Not Neutrogena or Coppertone (got HORRIFIC burns from those sunscreens). I have photo of you want to see - HORRIFIC.
