Vitamin D Deficiency 15ng (Advice Needed)
Post Body

So back story

On November 8th I went to the dentist and had an infected wisdom tooth and an infected molar both on left side-wisdom tooth gets pulled and I was put on augmentin—about 7 days after I got a root canal done and got put on clyndamyacin—then I got my other 3 wisdom teeth removed—2/3 had infection as well and another week on amoxicillin. Probably around the 14th the anxiety and weird joint pains started and it’s only got worse since.

(Nov 8-I quit cigarettes and weed I live in Denver it’s legal but still and then also I’m 32 yo if that matters)

Went to my normal doc and got comp. metabolic panel done-lipids checked-thyroid etc-everything was normal. Hell I even freaked out and got an STD check that came back all negative.

My doc (who is awesome) immediately said lets check your vitamin D levels and they came back at 15. Sooo...she put me on 50,000 IU per week but it is only one pill every 7 days and I’m not sure about it from what I have read. A lot of people swear you need magnesium and k2 (mk7) or something like that.

I go back to my doctor tomorrow to follow up on where I’m at now and while we won’t do a test on the levels I want to know what I should ask about regarding co-factor supplements that will compliment and alleviate these symptoms.

Please help!
