Adrenaline/PSP game activity question

I haven't really messed around with adrenaline too much but i've noticed running games through it do not appear on my activity feed (e.g. that i appear to be playing patapon 3 to my friends). I could download that said PSP game through the store and have it display as the game I am currently playing. So my question is if its possible to download a PSP game not through the psn store and have it show on my feed/currently playing?
