Clueless and Spontaneous

Hello, I'm 23(F) from England and randomly decided to come to Iceland today. I've arrived and I have no idea what I'm doing, I have looked up travel guides and tour brochures but I don't know what to do in terms of food.
My hotel is in the Háaleiti area, and so far the only thing I have done is been for a 2 hour walk just to "explore" while waiting for my hotel room to be ready.
I'll be here until Sunday morning, so if there's anyone who wants to make a friend, please do say Hi!
