I got so many tips from this subreddit for my trip to Iceland and it was everything I could have hoped for! Thank you!
Things Iâd recommend:
The buggy tour with Katlatrack out of Vic. This was phenomenal!! We got to drive on the black sand beach, up into the mountains and since it wasnât raining we got to drive through all the rivers and tributaries on the way back. So, so much fun!
Sky lagoon. We did this and the blue lagoon and sky lagoon was way better. It felt cleaner and I loved the ritual. They were about the same price and Blue Lagoon felt like a Howard Johnson pool lol
Eldborg farm. We were driving up to Snaefellsness and saw some very sketchy hay bale signs for a petting zoo. If Iâm ever found dead itâs because of something like this or a van with âPuppiesâ painted on the side. We had so much fun here! They have a bunch of different animals and the farmhand, Nick, is super knowledgeable and nice. They have a store in the front with handmade goods too. We got to hold baby kittens and bunnies and feed the goats.
ReykjavĂk Food Walk. We loved this! We tried a bunch of different foods and our tour guide, Jenny, was very friendly. It was fun to bop around the city.
Truly a once in a lifetime experience on this trip and we were lucky enough to see amazing auroras three nights in a row!
