Should I do Iceland on its own or as a stop on my way to Ireland

Post Body

Hi all,

My friends and I are planning a trip to Iceland from the US, next October and I can’t decide whether we should just do Iceland or maybe do 5 days in Iceland and then another 5 in Ireland or if there is enough to do in Iceland to stay the whole trip?

We’re not massively outdoorsy/hiking types but will want to explore what we can and are hoping to see the northern lights!

What do you think? Is 4-5 days enough?
