We're splitting 7 days between Waikiki and Aulani in May 2 adults, 2 kids (6,7). Will have a rental car. One day I'd like to visit Kualoa Ranch for the UTV tour, and make a day of it on the Windward side day with some beach time. My question is which beach?

Prefer white sand, swimmable and ideally a bathroom and shower since we have kiddos. Lanikai sounds like the most beautiful and popular but has no facilities. Kailua seemingly has everything but maybe not as nice as Lanikai. Waimanalo Bay Beach looks like it has great sand, wide not busy but somehow not as nice (forest vs palm trees, I realize I'm nitpicking here). I dunno tbh i want to see them all but can probably only fit one that day. Preferences?

Also considered secret beach at Kualoa Ranch or Kualoa Beach park but they don't seem as nice as the above options.

Other minor considerations are lunch and dinner spots and should we take the highway through mountains from Waikiki or go around the long way on the coast for the scenery.
